Our story
Centered Care Home was founded on a simple belief: individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve a home — not a facility. Every part of how we operate grows from that idea.
Our mission
Centered Care Home exists to give individuals with IDD a stable, loving residence where their independence is respected and their safety never comes second. We partner closely with families, guardians, and care coordinators so support at home matches the life each resident wants to build.
We started as a single, licensed home with room for a handful of residents — built into a program families trust with the people they love most.
Our vision
We picture a home where growth is measured in relationships built, skills gained, and choices made — not just tasks completed.
What guides us
Every resident is treated as an adult with the right to privacy, choice, and respect — in how we speak to them and about them.
We see families and guardians as partners in care, not visitors. Communication stays open, honest, and frequent.
Independence looks different for everyone. We measure progress against each resident's own goals, not a generic benchmark.
A good life extends beyond the front door — through work, hobbies, faith, friendships, and community spaces.
Our team
Our direct support professionals are trained in person-centered care, medication administration, first aid/CPR, and behavioral support — with ongoing education throughout the year.
